January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Human Trafficking Awareness Month is observed annually in January to shed light on the global issue of human trafficking. During this month, various organizations, governments, and individuals collaborate to raise awareness about the prevalence of human trafficking, its different forms (such as sex trafficking, forced labor, and child exploitation), and the ways to prevent and combat it.
Awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, events, and advocacy efforts are organized to inform the public about the signs of human trafficking, support survivors, and encourage action to eradicate this grave violation of human rights.
Don't forget to wear blue on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in solidarity with Human Trafficking Awareness.
